Tuner wraps the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG in a new carbon shell that drops 90 kg in weight from the raging sports coupe
This is the Mansory Cormeum based on the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG.
Designed and named by the tuner's owner and head designer Kourosh Mansory, the SLS gets wrapped in a complete carbon shell for a 90 kg weight-saving diet and a substantially revised look.
The body kit includes a new lightweight roof and wing doors, front skirt with large air inlets, widening fenders that extend the SLS by 66 mm at the front axle and 84 mm at the rear axle, as well as side skirts that make the sport coupe appear lower. At the back is a rear spoiler with carbon flaps and a race diffuser for additional downforce.
Engine tuning consists of increasing output to 660 PS (485 kW / 651 bhp) while a performance upgrade to 800 PS (588 kW / 789 bhp) is also in the works.
For the wheels are 9 x 20 inch rims at the front with 265/30R20 Michelin tires and 11 x 21 inchers at the back wrapped in 295/25R20 Michelins.
New springs and dampers lower the SLS AMG by 20 mm too.
On the inside Mansory does its luxuriating thing with a hand fitted soft leather finish with decorative stitching, carbon trim, of course, a newly designed center console and other touches such as the aluminum pedals and sport steering wheel with a full-sized airbag.
The name, Cormeum, comes from an operatic aria called Vide Cor meum composed by Patrick Cassidy and based on a sonnet in Dante's "La Vita Nuova".

The LP700-4 Aventador arrives a known entity but still one of the most impressive pieces of machinery of the show
The Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4 has been revealed at a Geneva pre-show event.
It's matter of looking now as we already now all there is to know about the car and its impressive construction.
The LP700-4 features a curb weight of just 1575 kg (3,472 pounds) due to its carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) monocoque structure which tips the scales at only 147.5 kilograms (324.5 lbs). The whole body-in-white weighs but 229.5 kilograms (505 lbs).
Power comes from a 6.5 liter V12 with an ouput of 700 PS (690 bhp / 515 kW) and 690 Nm (509 lb-ft) of torque. Gearbox is a 7-speed independent shift rod transmission (with dual synchronizers) supplied by Graziano Trasmissioni Group with 50 millisecond shift times. The LP700-4 Aventador also features a Haldex all-wheel drive system.
All those mechanics are good for a 0 to 100 km/h sprint time of 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 350 km/h (217 mph).
Finish options will include the Arancio Argos orange paint in a pearl effect and bi-color interiors with Alcantara.
The first customers will take delivery of the new Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 in late summer 2011. Pricing is as follows:

What makes a loud, shouty and obscenely powerful hypercar even better? Simples: make it louder, shoutier and even more obscenely powerful. This is the Agera ‘R'.
The one you see pictured above is a customer car (production number 83, since you asked), ready to make its debut at the Geneva motor show.
The car will sit alongside the production version of the ‘standard' Agera on Koenigsegg's stand, and sports a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine chucking out around 1,115bhp when supping on bio-fuel. It weighs in at just 1,330kg, a Fat Man more than a Ford Fiesta.
This ‘R' version is liveried in a ‘Speed Racer' theme, special Michelin tyres and a Thule Roof Box.

Wiesmann Spyder Concept caught on Geneva show room floor
Following up from their previous prime catch, the sure-footed crew at Autogespot.com have also uncovered the Wiesmann Spyder Concept.
As previously announced the Wiesmann Spyder Concept is a feasibility study. If the responses is favorable the roadster could go into production as early as 2012.
Smaller than the MF4 Roadster, the Spyder concept attempts to be a traditional lightweight roadster, but while maintaining that retro Wiesmann look. It has no doors, roof or windscreen.
Stay tuned as further details will be released in less than 48 hours.

Designer reimagines the E-Type Jag
Remodelling the E-Type Jag is like remodelling Joanna Lumley.
